Itinerary
Day 1Arrival at Fiumicino Airport in Rome, transfer to hotel. Guided City tour in the Ancient city of Rome: Coliseum ‐ Arch of Constantine ‐ Roman Forum ‐ Trajan’s Market ‐ Capitoline Hill, Overnight at the hotel in Rome.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel, afterwards guided city tour “Monumental Rome”: Trevi Fountain – Spanish Steps – Pantheon ‐ Piazza Navona ‐ Piazza Venezia – Piazza del Popolo. Overnight at the hotel in Rome.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel, and start a guided city tour“Christian Rome”: Vatican – St. Peter’s Basilica ‐ Santa Maria in Trastevere ‐ Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore ‐ Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano ‐ Basilica di San Paolo Fuori le Mura. Overnight at the hotel in Rome.
Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel, then start of a full day of shopping in the center of Rome. Overnight at the hotel in Rome.
Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel, then direct transfer to Venice. In the afternoon, start a city tour from Punta Sabbioni to Venice, Guided visit to Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square and St. Mark’s Basilica. Dinner today in a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Venice.
Day 6
Breakfast at the hotel, and a walking tour in Venice, visiting St. Mark's Square, the byzantine basilica, and the Bridge of Sighs. In the afternoon, departure from St Mark’s square by boat to St. Lazarus, the Armenian island (about 40 minutes by boat). *Boat fare not included & museum entrance for Armenians are sometimes free but might be required. After visiting the Island, return to Venice for the overnight.
Day 7
After breakfast visit to Palazzo Zenobio, Armenian college Moorat Rafaelian. Also watch skilled GLASSBLOWERS that fashion their delicate objects in an age‐old traditional manner. Enjoy Venice at your own pace or join an optional excursion to the island of Burano. Overnight at the hotel in Venice.
Day 8
Breakfast and departure to Milan by train from Venice. Arrival in Milan, transfer to the hotel, accommodation and city tour of Milan. Visit Piazza del Duomo, the Duomo, Piazza Mercanti, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Piazza della Scala. Overnight at the hotel in Milan.
Day 9
Breakfast and visit to the Armenian Church of Milan, and visit the Upper Room to admire the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci in the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Overnight at the hotel in Milan.
Day 10
After breakfast, full day dedicated to shopping in Via Montenapoleone, and overnight stay in Milan.
Day 11
Breakfast in the hotel, free time for shopping, then direct transfer to Malpensa Airport for the final departure.
